The aim of this article is to present the experience of a technical school of the unified health system (ET-Sus) on promotion of nursing technical course for com-munities with social vulnerability and analyze the contribution to emancipatory educational practice. This is an intersectoral action, developed by the departments of health and Public Security of the State of Bahia through the Pact Programme Life. Is a field research with qualitative approach. The participants of the study were four educators of course responded to the semi-structured interview. The material was recorded and transcribed in full, worked for thematic analysis of Minayo from the theoretical framework of Paulo Freire, chosen by the proximity of this study with the written work and its interventions in Brazil and in other countries as an educator of adults and in social movements. The technical course promoted by ET-Sus Bahia is an innovative initiative in Brazil, presenting itself as an educational practice of emancipating character in search of Be-over people residing in territories with social vulnerability.References
