This article is part of the reflections developed in the curriculum component of Popular Education and Freirean Pedagogy course, taught by the author at the Teacher Training Center of UFCG. This course is offered to graduate students in Education. The goal was to analyze how students perceive in their academic training the thought of Paulo Freire. The study was based on the theoretical frameworks of that author. In the methodology, we used the reflective dialogical method. The results are presented in a positive and critical way, since for many graduate students is the first time both they are faced with the ideas of the author and they begin to change their lives critically.References
