Abstract

The child likes to hear stories because stirs your imagination making experience the reality of that story your way, so do not be content to listen only once. So that children are encouraged to read, the teacher needs to know children’s literature, which does not assess the amount of books read, but the intensity with which he does his reading and rereading, by the way he treats the stories and books. This research aims to understand the development process of the formation of readers 2-3 years through storytelling. The storytelling in early childhood education is important because the narrator and listener traveling together in the emotions of the story. To count history is necessary first of all to listen. Before storytelling is necessary to have ears to learn and get involved, feel, and be moved by the stories, it is hearing stories that the children awaken many important feelings such as excitement, sadness, anger, irritation, fear, joy, insecurity and well-being, experiencing everything deeply narratives cause when they hear also hear stories is a valuable and enjoyable for the predisposition to learning and complementation. This research is based in literature, used as an instrument in the same interview with teachers from kindergarten aged 2-3 years.
